Both good news and bad news for The Cleveland Show
Remember The Cleveland Show? Yes, it’s still happening! Here’s the latest:
Good News!
According to Variety, Fox has picked up another nine segs of “Cleveland,” giving the 20th Century Fox TV production a full 22 episode season order for the 2009-10 season. That’s GOOD. Here’s what Cleveland had to say about this: “”FOX picking up nine more episodes of our show is proof that an African-American can make it in this country,” said a very animated Cleveland Brown. “This is a milestone for the United States of America.”
More good news!
Arieanna Huffington, a liberal media mouthpiece (OMG I’ve ALWAYS wanted to say that. How Bill O’Reilly of me.) will be playing a talking bear on the series, which is pretty inspired casting.
And now the bad news. Whaaaa.
Fox has pushed back the premiere date for The Cleveland Show until Fall 2009, instead of Spring 2009 as was originally reported. So, just a little bit more to wait….not that bad at all.
