Family Guy gets its own beer!
In one of those awesome serendipities that we don’t often get to see in real life, Family Guy is actually getting ITS OWN BEER. As in, Pawtucket Patriot Ale is going to be a reality. Here’s more:
In an example of reverse product placement, the Rhode Island-based microbrew will be dubbed Pawtucket Patriot Ale after show patriarch Peter Griffin’s libation of choice. It’s scheduled to appear in liquor stores and specialty outlets next year….Family Guy’s beer deal is part of Fox’s philosophy from the start to link with adult-skewing licensees who create products specifically for young adults and college students.
I’ll buy it, but I won’t drink it - it will be a collector’s item right next to my Star Wars action figures.
