FLASHBACK TO INTERVENTION

(FRIENDS AND FAMILY GATHER AROUND PETER WHO’S WEARING A BIG
FOAM COWBOY HAT)

LOIS: Peter, you’ve been wearing that giant foam cowboy hat for eight months now. Please, for your family, take it off.

PETER: Hey, Hey, I can take this hat off anytime I want. I just don’t want to.

(EVERYONE ADVANCES ON HIM)

PETER (CONT’D): Get away!

STEWIE
Damn. I look even more foolish than when I was at that cocktail party.

INT. COCKTAIL PARTY - DAY (FLASHBACK)
Stewie talks to PEOPLE at a party.

STEWIE
All right, you’re gonna love this. So — Oh, hang on a sec.

Stewie looks around the room for a second, as if looking for something. He runs O.S.

EXT. STREET - CONTINUOUS
Stewie runs into frame, looks around for a bit, then runs O.S.

EXT. CITY - MOMENTS LATER
Stewie runs into frame, looks around for a bit, then runs O.S.

EXT. MEADOW - MOMENTS LATER
There are COWS in the meadow. Stewie runs into frame, looks around for a bit, then runs O.S.

EXT. BEACH - MOMENTS LATER
SUNBATHERS bask and people swim. Stewie runs into frame, looks around for a bit, then runs O.S.

INT. COCKTAIL PARTY - MOMENTS LATER
Stewie runs back in and resumes his position.

STEWIE
Okay, so these two black guys walk into a bar, and the bartender looks–

A BLACK GUY rises up out of the potted plant behind Stewie with the plant on top of his head.

BLACK GUY
Hey, what are you guys talking about?

STEWIE
Oh, (STUTTERS) I was just telling a joke. Um, so, uh, the bartender looks around and says, uh, “What’ll you two fine gentlemen have?” And, uh, they paid their tab and, and couldn’t have been more courteous.
