Why I Heart Lois Griffin

She puts up with a man who is so utterly beneath her on every possible level. I’m not saying that this is the case in my OWN life, mind you. Really. I’m not. STOP LOOKING AT ME LIKE THAT.

She plays piano like it’s going on sale at the Piggly Wiggly. Only Peter plays piano better (except he has to be plastered).

Lois is one of the "hotter" cartoon ladies out there, along with Betty Rubble and Maria from "Sesame Street", who, while technically is NOT a cartoon lady, has an innate sense of style and poise that I’ve always appreciated. Plus, she gets to hang out with Luis all the time, who is smokin’ hot.

She has a checkered past - groupie work, much imbiding of the forbidden weed, a bit of drinky-drinky, you name it. But that doesn’t stop her from being a fairly horrible mother. In fact, she does Fun Mom stuff, like:

• reading Meg’s secret diary out loud to the family
• allowing Chris to be beat up by the entire high school just because he’s a freshmen
• falling into a serious gambling addiction and losing the family vehicle

Oh, yeah! The fun never ends with Lois, I tell you. Here’s a clip of Lois and Stewie, who, for some reason we’ll never understand other than he’s just PURE EVIL, is trying to kill her:
